Hot tub and pool was amazing, it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, could have used a few more hot options. The carpet looked outdated but the large pictures above the beds were beautiful and a nice addition to the room, the refrigerator was very loud when the compressor kicked on ,and we were quite disappointed that the hair dryer was not working. But overall very nice place to stay and I would stay again in the future

Everything except for the staff cleaning at 2-5am approx. The room shared a wall with breakfast room. Staff was banging and clanging. The worst was the cabinet doors being slammed shut frequently. It was miserable. I mentioned it to the front desk staff. The response was Thank you and ill share this information with a manager. No offer to move us or to compensate us. I suggested that they not use that room. The response was a slight smile

Excellent location for spending days at Higgins Lake and doing day trips to Grayling/Mio. Breakfast offers enough variety - many healthier options. Loved that they accommodated our request for a first floor room; being able to look out on the woods and open the windows and enjoy the fresh air in warm weather is great! Staff was very friendly.

I found out there wasn't an elevator for my 2nd floor room. With a recent ankle injury, I knew doing stairs would be agony for me. The young gal at the desk went above and beyond to get me a 1st floor room. She was marvelous!!!! The hotel is easy to access to the highway. Four miles to Yogi Bear Campground so I could be part of the family fun and go back to a comfy bed... my ideal camping.

Location is close to major a highway , Higgins Lake and Up North attractions; good value for the rate. Complimentary breakfast satisfying - nice variety of foods and beverages. Scenic wooded area; fuel station and C-store across the street. Accommodated our first floor request.

It was really nice to have a enclosed dog run. The room was clean and close to the exit.

simple, pleasant and a good Basecamp for reaching other destinations in northern Michigan. we don’t stay at hotels w a lot of amenities- just need a pleasant place to sleep and a decent breakfast. this property offers both.

The breakfast was very basic but I liked it and could find healthy choices! The hot tub was great. Safe location. Good value.

Comfortable bed and nice size room. Enjoyed the nice pool and hot tub along with the continental breakfast.

First floor accommodations; clean, quiet, thoughtful staff and convenience to highways -- quick access to Higgins Lake, day-trip distance to the Upper Peninsula
